Completing AML with LiveSign
New Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Laws (AML/CTF) came into effect on 1 July 2026. Under these Laws it is compulsory for all law firms across Australia to complete additional checks on clients when buying or selling property. These checks include, at a minimum, verifying the client’s identity and confirming the source of funds for the transaction.
In the aim of simplifying the process for our clients, MAP Lawyers have partnered with LiveSign pulling our initial compliance steps into a client friendly portal.
